Recladding Copper Spire, Grade I Listed Church

An important Grade I listed 15thc village church in Devon with unusual copper clad spire. Following a successful grant application to the LPOW Roof Repair grant scheme and local fundraising, the spire was re-clad in copper shingles. The details were carefully agreed with Historic England and the DAC. The oak louvres were also repaired and lead work to gutter, flashings and to the weathervane all replaced.

Completed July 2016. Contract Value £105,000.
