Grade II listed Granary building
Our proposals for this unusual raised granary building included extending and converting it to form a two-bedroom holiday cottage as part of a farm diversification project in Devon. The importance of this building lies in its function and use of materials in an area of Devon where granaries are not often found. The proposals maintained the open-plan nature of the first floor space, but allowed the insertion of a small extension to provide kitchen and bathroom space at the rear. This project is awaiting grant funding.
